Why are the book condition and damage unknown?
We only started asking users to enter the book condition and damage for their books in February 2006, so in the short-term many of the books on the site will have "<unknown>" specified for the book condition and damage. Don't let this put you off swapping though - most books on the site are in excellent condition.
